As the Moon opposes the Sun on the Libra/Aries axis at 5:20pm PST/8:20 pm EST on April 12, 2025, we find ourselves at a point of completion to the 18-month journey of the Aries-Libra eclipse axis that began back in April 2023. This isn’t just any full moon. It’s the closing scene of a deeply karmic play on love, selfhood, and the tension between authenticity and attachment.
If the October 2, 2024 Libra Solar Eclipse was the moment we were asked to own our shadows in love and connection, this full moon is the culmination of that initiation. And like any powerful finale, this one offers both revelation and completion.
If you have personal planets around 15-29 degrees of the cardinal signs (Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn), this energy will be impacting you quite personally. Find out if this is you by signing up to the Lunar Alchemy Collective, where you’ll get full access to this article and instructions on pulling up your chart & learning how the energy is affecting you. If not, you will still be affected by this energy wherever you have these degrees in your chart.
Authenticity vs. Attachment
This eclipse axis (since April 2023) has cracked open the false peace we’ve kept in relationships out of fear of rocking the boat. It has spotlighted how often we contort ourselves for connection, and simultaneously how much we crave being truly seen. Libra, the sign of harmony and beauty, has asked us to explore: Is the connection worth it if it comes at the cost of our truth?
Meanwhile, Aries—the sign of individuality and instinct—has reminded us that authenticity is an act of love, not separation. These eclipses have brought fated connections, endings, confrontations, and awakenings. Most recently, the final Aries eclipse on March 29 (until 2032) initiated us into acting on the wisdom we have gained from these eclipses. Now, under the full moon in Libra, we are asked to continue this integration, and to keep our hearts open to love and connection without sacrificing out authenticity.
Venus Stations Direct

What makes this full moon especially significant is the role of Venus, Libra’s ruling planet. On this day, Venus is not only exalted in Pisces—a placement of deep spiritual love, compassion, and beauty—but she is also conjunct the North Node, Vertex, Saturn, and Mercury. She also stations direct the same day - marking a cosmic moment of profound significance when it comes to all things Venusian - love, money & self-worth.
